Jay Cameron – Litigation Director

Jay Cameron is the Litigation Director at the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, a non-profit law firm dedicated to the education and defence of Canadians constitutional rights, particularly freedom of religion and conscience, freedom of speech and freedom of association.

Jay graduated from law school in 2007 and articled at a national law firm in Calgary, Alberta. After being called to the bar in 2008, Jay worked as a Crown prosecutor, where he ran trials and bail hearings. In 2012 he returned to Alberta and civil litigation and has since appeared at every level of court in Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, the Court of Appeal in Ontario, and the Supreme Court of Canada.

He believes in the importance of constitutionalism and the rule of law to national success. He believes that everyone is created equal by God and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.
