Marnie had a successful career in journalism - as a writer, reporter, newspaper editor and columnist, and magazine publisher and editor - for more than 15 years. She also worked as investigative reporter for a national news magazine focusing on freedom, parental rights, law-abiding gun ownership, health and crime.
She has more than 20 years experience in project management, marketing and communications, and human resources management, in addition to extensive experience in radio, television and public speaking. Her writing has appeared in publications including the Epoch Times, Calgary Herald, Toronto Sun, Calgary Sun, Reader’s Digest, Vancouver Province, Edmonton Journal, Globe & Mail, National Post, Alberta Report, and Western Standard, both past and present iterations.
Besides being a devoted wife and mother, she has been a pilot for more than a decade and enjoys flying airplanes, shooting sports, summer, gardening, and large renovation projects.
