Allie is best known for her passion for justice, and her desire to see people activated and understanding the crucial role they play in defining the world around them. She strives to communicate complex social and political concepts in ways that are relevant and consumable.
In 2022, Allie ran for Toronto City Council. With conviction to see Toronto transformed with principled values, she placed 4 out of 9 as a first-timer with no organizational support or experienced campaign help.
Her background includes working for the Ontario government in multimedia and in Minister's offices, and in Public and Media Relations. She has a heart for vulnerable girls and dedicated years to running a volunteer program called SHINE, including in an all-girls juvenile justice centre in Sydney, Australia, through local community programs in Barrie and Muskoka, Ont, small events in Cambodia and Switzerland, and missions trips to Winnipeg and Moldova.
In her free time, Allie enjoys gathering people in her home, going for long walks, catching up on her favourite podcasts, and volunteering in the community.
