EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Digital Media Producer

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF.ca) seeks a talented and driven individual to join our growing team on a one-year, part-time contract. The Digital Media Producer will be responsible for planning and executing the Justice Centre’s digital marketing strategy, and for designing content that is mission-focused, educational and captivating.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in pitching, producing, and editing digital content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Ability to conceptualize and develop new series as well as templates for JCCF content.
  • Intimate knowledge of social media and an ability to recognize and create content people will want to share.
  • Experience with creating social media ad campaigns optimized for Facebook and YouTube.
  • Strong organization skills, with experience juggling multiple deadlines, and quick turnarounds.
  • Professional social media and audience development/engagement experience
  • Motion graphics experience a huge plus.
  • Commitment to, and agreement with, the Justice Centre’s vision, mission and principles.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing, managing, and producing JCCF’s multimedia videos optimized for sharing on Social Media.
  • Developing non-video content for JCCF platforms and audiences; primarily Facebook and Twitter.
  • Working closely with contracted video producers and social team members to deliver the highest quality and highest impact content possible.
  • Balancing the work of a variety of projects, from daily deliveries to longer video productions.
  • Participating in brainstorms and bringing new ideas to the table.
  • Keeping a close eye on JCCF cases and columns to identify editorial/video social crossover opportunities.

This position can be filled by a part-time employee, or by way of a contract. Flexible work location.
