2020 George Jonas Freedom Award – Vancouver

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms is pleased to present the 2020 award to:
Society for Academic Freedom and Scholarship (SAFS). SAFS is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that focuses on maintaining freedom in teaching, research and scholarship at post-secondary instutitions in Canada.


Join us in honouring the 2020 recipient of the George Jonas Freedom Award and celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Justice Centre at three dinners:

Early Bird: Individual $150 Table $1200

Regular: Individual $200 Table $1600

VIP (Limit 36 tickets): Individual $250 Table $2000

There will be limited tickets available for the VIP reception to take place before the event. Appetizers and drinks served, plus the opportunity to meet and greet Justice Centre lawyers and guest speakers.

We will issue an official tax receipt for a portion of the ticket price, and mail those receipts in early 2021. We require your mailing address to issue an official tax receipt.

George Jonas (1935-2016) was a renowned Canadian author, poet, and journalist, and a columnist with the National Post. Each year the Justice Centre presents an Award in his honour, given to a Canadian individual or organization in recognition of significant contributions towards defending the free society.
