On September 15, 2021 at approx. time stamp 06:00 of this press conference, Premier Jason Kenney stated:
“Albertas Health services is doing everything possible to staff more beds for the growing number of Covid patients.”
“Even with the biggest per capita health care budget in Canada, Alberta hospitals normally, outside of a covid year, have a total of 173 staffed intensive care beds and we usually operate at 85% of capacity.
