The Government of Alberta (GOA) continues to claim that the majority of Covid cases have occurred in unvaccinated Albertans since January 1, 2021 and could have been prevented by the shots.

Source: https://www.alberta.ca/stats/covid-19-alberta-statistics.htm#vaccine-outcomes

Notes:
0% of the general population could have been “fully vaccinated” (GOA defined) on January 1, 2021.
The earliest date that anyone in the general Alberta public could have been considered “fully vaccinated” was February 15, 2021 (Age 75+ group).
The earliest date that all eligible population could be considered “fully vaccinated” was June 24, 2021 (Ages 12+).
October 5, 2021 is the first date that Alberta had received enough doses to provide all eligible Albertans with two doses, meaning that October 19, 2021, would have been the first possible date for all eligible Albertans to be “fully vaccinated.”
As of October 24, 2021, the GOA is still counting 100% of Covid cases in the 0 -11 age group as “unvaccinated” despite the fact that they are not eligible for vaccination.
