VIDEO: Banned For Belief

new video released this week by the Justice Centre is asking Canadians to consider who are the real victims of the provincial law societies’ bans on Trinity Western law school graduates.

In this video, the Justice Centre profiles the account of Monica, a second year philosophy major and aspiring law student at Trinity Western. Monica explains why she chose Trinity Western, shares her dreams and aspirations, and explains the personal impact of the law societies’ bans on her own career path, which she hopes leads to a job defending children’s rights with UNICEF.

“Freedom of association allows people to form communities that share common values,” explains Justice Centre president John Carpay.  “These students face being unable to practice in their chosen field simply for exercising this fundamental right. Not only is that unconstitutional…it is profoundly unfair.”
