Husband and wife in separate nursing homes can’t see each other

Art and his wife are an elderly couple who live in an east central town in Saskatchewan. Art lives in an enhanced living home one block away from his wife who lives in a nursing home. During the beginning of Covid-19, he was able to walk over and meet his wife. They social distanced at all times. However, after a few days of doing this, Art was told that he and his wife were not permitted to leave their yards. This means that for the past two and a half months, Art has not been able to go for a walk and meet his wife. He is not even asking to be able to hug her. All they want, is to be able to see each other’s faces in person.
