My mom is 97 and needs to know we love her

My Mom is 97 and in long term care for the past 4 years. My Mom needs her family. She needs to know we love her, we are here for her and that she is important to us. She needs to see us smile, to blow kisses to her great grandchildren and know that we are looking out for her.

My Mom has not been sick with Covid. Nor has anyone in her facility. Covid is going to be here next week, next month, next year.  We need to allow our elderly the right to be with their families.

As society is opening up we need to make our family caregivers an integral part of the process. Our families are vital components of their care plan. We need to allow our loved ones their right to be loved.
