Contest Guidelines
Eligibility:
- Participants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or able to provide proof of immigration.
- Each participant can submit up to 3 original entries, regardless of category.
- Entries must be in JPEG or PNG format and should not exceed 15 MB per file.
- File names should follow the format: Artist’sName_ArtTitle_MediumUsed.
- Each entry must include a brief description.
- Photography: Minimal edits.
- Digital Art: Created entirely digitally.
- Mixed Media: Combines photographic elements with digital manipulation. May include canvas paintings and photo collages.
- AI generated submissions will not be accepted.
- Submissions open: May 1st, 2024
- Submission deadline: October 27, 2024, 11:59 p.m.
- Winners announced: December 9, 2024
- Creativity and Originality
- Technical Excellence
- Artistic Appeal
- Relevance to Theme
- Winners announced on website and social media.
- Winners’ artwork displayed at Justice Centre events.
- Top contestants’ work exhibited in an online gallery.
- Participants retain copyright ownership.
- Justice Centre granted non-exclusive, royalty-free license for promotional purposes.
