Contest Guidelines

Eligibility:
  • Participants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or able to provide proof of immigration.
Submission Guidelines:
  • Each participant can submit up to 3 original entries, regardless of category.
  • Entries must be in JPEG or PNG format and should not exceed 15 MB per file.
  • File names should follow the format: Artist’sName_ArtTitle_MediumUsed.
  • Each entry must include a brief description.
Submission Spectrum:
  • Photography: Minimal edits.
  • Digital Art: Created entirely digitally.
  • Mixed Media: Combines photographic elements with digital manipulation. May include canvas paintings and photo collages.
  • AI generated submissions will not be accepted. 
Deadline:
  • Submissions open: May 1st, 2024
  • Submission deadline: October 27, 2024, 11:59 p.m.
  • Winners announced: December 9, 2024
Judging Criteria:
  • Creativity and Originality
  • Technical Excellence
  • Artistic Appeal
  • Relevance to Theme
Promotion and Visibility:
  • Winners announced on website and social media.
  • Winners’ artwork displayed at Justice Centre events.
  • Top contestants’ work exhibited in an online gallery.
Intellectual Property and Usage Rights:
  • Participants retain copyright ownership.
  • Justice Centre granted non-exclusive, royalty-free license for promotional purposes.
